Infographic Prepared by foodinsurance.com and used with express permission of foodinsurance.com
Thank you for the information.
Nice info to live by in an emergency. We live in Florida so preps are for hurricanes too.
I didn’t know about the water not lasting very long.
That I should rotate it out.
Where did you find Stainless steel water containers?
Regarding the food I made sure to buy 4 can openers just to be sure one works.
I bought heirloom seeds to plant. Planted 2 pepper plants which are still alive in their 2nd year with very little maintenance.
So the heirlooms are much better then the hybrids.
Thanks for the feedback. I don’t use stainless steel for water. If you look at the post, this infographic was prepared by the people at food insurance. Personally, I prefer polymer type storage containers for water storage…like the ones sold at portable tank group here: Portable Tank Group.
Thanks Matt for getting back to me on the poly-tanks site. I have an older pressure washer tank which I never used yet. It’s 250 gallons. So I’m going to use it to save water in it.
Keep up the good work on you site.
